I am thrilled to offer a 2 hour Yin Yoga class on Saturday, February 25th at Michael’s Body Scenes from 2-4pm. You will be guided to hold poses for 3-5 minutes while your senses will be subtly soothed, experiencing massage, hands-on assists, aromatherapy, blissful music and the invitation of turning inwards. Yin yoga is designed to elongate the connective tissues of the body (ligaments, tendon and fascia) resulting in a greater sense of space within. Each asana (pose) will stimulate meridian lines (pathways in the body where energy flows) which connect to vital organs helping to restore balance. Using deep, focused breathing you will connect and drop further into your body helping to release and let go of stress and tension. We will then finish off with a meditation. This Yin Yoga practice will reset your nervous system and guide you to your calm, alert, refreshed and revitalized self. Everyone is welcome.
